Christine grew up thinking she wanted to design and produce stickers when she grows up. As she got older, she soon realized the love and passion for art deep inside of her; she wanted something bigger and brighter than stickers. Upon graduation from High School, she quickly immersed herself into the diverse world of art at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, practicing various mediums including painting, drawing, ceramics, print making and photography, painting being the most favorite.
After obtaining a Bachelors of Fine Art from ECIAD in May 2004, she grew a strong passion for 3D art and decided to extend her education at Vancouver Film School. It all started out with a flash back of the initial reason for her to enter the world of art, the initial reason being a very cool 3D Coca Cola polar bear commercial. At VFS, she studied 3D animation specializing in modeling and obtained a Diploma in 3D Animation and Visual Effects in February 2006. She particularly fell in love with creating environments which allows endless possibilities of space and form.
Thanks to Grand Theft Auto for showing the immense world that can be created in 3D space. Her knowledge and skills in both 2D and 3D art have offered her some valuable skills, such an eye for detail, sense of colors, and creativity. Furthermore, they have assisted her to develop a balance where the two worlds can complement each other.
